Storytime l We all remember storytime, whether it was in preschool or right before bedtime. These wonderful fables, epic tales, and silly rhymes introduced us to new experiences and helped build our vocabulary. In this social engagement session, parents will revisit this nostalgic tradition with their children. You'll read stories aloud and follow with engaging activities to help little ones learn valuable lessons from the pages. Spend precious time together with family in this fun, engaging activity.


Magic Show l Team-building activities should be fun. And what’s more fun than a magic show put on by talented magicians? In this social engagement session, attendees will experience a captivating virtual show with personalized audience interaction. While magic shows aren't the first thing that comes to mind when we think of team-building activities, they do tick off the right boxes. Magic shows provide mental stimulation, inspire creative thinking, and allow colleagues to share a unique, lighthearted activity. So let the magic begin!


To honor July 23rd Parent's Day we recommend:


Stress Management for Parents l Parenting is undoubtedly one of the most stressful jobs out there. From years of sleep deprivation to coordinating work and childcare schedules, parenting-related stress is guaranteed, but you can manage it with the right tactics. In this health talk session, attendees will discuss sources of stress, common symptoms, and stress management strategies. Parents will walk away with an action plan to help prevent, manage, and reduce stress, which is a huge factor in our mental and physical health.


How to Thrive as a Working Parent l Workers clock out after a shift, but working parents are always on the clock. From keeping the house clean to preparing meals, the daily grind at home can be just as stressful as a day job. In this health talk session, attendees will learn to let go of a perfectionist approach and explore the differences between expectations and reality. When we set healthy expectations, we develop resiliency and harness positive emotions. You will walk away with tips on balancing family and work and division of labor to help your family thrive.


Caregiver Burnout Prevention and Management l Being a caregiver to children or aging parents is tough work, especially when combined with a full-time job. With so much responsibility on their plates, caregivers often experience something called compassion fatigue. Caregivers are more prone to this type of burnout, as caring for a loved one is emotionally, physically, and financially taxing. In this health talk session, attendees will learn the importance of self-care and identify ways to implement self-care. As the saying goes, you can't pour from an empty cup, and participants will learn about caregiver burnout signs and risk factors, plus strategies for managing stress.
