LGBTQIA+ History and Rights
EDUCATIONAL TALK SESSION
The first pride march was held in New York City on November 2, 1969. While there have been major wins in LGBTQIA+ rights legislation since then, the fight for equal rights continues. In this health talk session, attendees will brush up on LGBTQIA+ history. You'll be brought up to date on current anti-LGBTQIA+ sentiments and the sexual and gender diversity spectrum. You'll identify what we can do as individuals and as a whole to uplift the LGBTQIA+ community.
