Yoga & Mindful Classes
FitPros are versed working in studios, outdoors, random spaces, and potentially awkward conference rooms. They are highly experienced and know how to set the mood given any accommodation. If your space has a sound system, the teacher will plug their music in. Let us know if there’s not a sound system and the teacher will bring a speaker.
Due to sanitary reasons each class is BYOM - Bring Your Own Mat. If you’re interested to purchase mats, towels or other fitness products, with or without your company logo we can help!
Your FitPro will evaluate the skill level of each student to offer modifications. If you’re not sure which class suits the majority try sending out a survey and/ or try one of each!
For first timers or those looking to fine tune their practice. Emphasis on the fundamentals of Yoga to increase awareness of alignment, build strength and increase flexibility.
Noted as the most common form of Yoga. “Vinyasa” is a term used to describe a specific sequence of asanas (aka poses). The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you to flow from one pose to the next building heat and increasing your strength and flexibility in equal measure.
(Yoga + Pilates)
This slightly more intense yoga class, combines strength exercises from pilates and flexibility asanas from yoga. Develop core strength and balance while focusing to tone the glutes, thighs and stomach. Improve posture, build lean muscle while being mindful of your breath and alignment.
In this slower paced class postures are held longer, allowing muscles to relax deeply. Props are typically used to increase flexibility and support the body into deep release. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress.
Live DJ Yoga ²
With the increasingly popular sober morning raves, join the movement of ‘wellness clubbing’ in your office. Create community through a celebration with movement and music in this hip and unique class that’s sure to engage employees of all skill levels and interest.
FitPros' Kiddo Yoga was created to empower corporate professional's children, with techniques that can help them learn how to listen to their body and be more mindful. In this 60 minute guided yoga practice, a certified professional will lead you and your children through movement and meditation, in a fun and effective way.
Stiff Guy Yoga
Quirky name aside, this class is designed for anyone (gals are welcome too!) with tight hips and shoulders - which includes most of us with stiff joints due to sitting at a desk all day. Lengthening the muscle in yoga cross-trains for flexibility and improves recovery time after strength exercises.
If you ever feel stiff and achy from sitting at your desk all day, you are not alone! In this class you will learn and flow through a series of stretches you can do right at your desk to alleviate the lower back, neck, wrist and any other pain you have developed from being sedentary for long periods of time.
QiYoga (pronounced “Chi Yoga”) uses flowing Qigong and Yoga asanas to stretch, energize and relax the body. Each class is different, playful and fun - and may include balance poses, twisting, and core, strengthening, practiced with the intensity that’s right for each student.
This ancient Chinese meditative practice is designed to open energy pathways and increase internal energy (Qi) flow. Of our yogic offerings QiGong is a more spiritually directed moving meditation that involves slow flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and calm state of mind.
Meditative group class with essential oils to calm the senses. A natural, non-invasive modality designed to affect the whole person not just the symptom or disease and to assist the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, and heal.
Sound Bath Healing
Artist-led class with relaxing sounds from instruments or other noise making tools to rebalance the mind and body. A Sound Bath can be an unforgettable sound experience for those who seek deep relaxation, rejuvenation and an acceleration of their inward journey.
We live in the fast lane of an ever-changing world so it's important to learn how to cultivate inner peace and release stress through guided meditation. Quieting the mind can be tricky on our own. With verbal instruction train the brain to focus and increase the ability to be present throughout the workday. Unlike our regular 60 minute fitness classes, meditation is 30 minutes.
¹ Most classes are 55 minutes, except we’ve learned meditation is most popular in the workplace when 30 minutes, with 15 minutes optional group discussion.
² Live DJ Yoga is a 75 minute class with a real live DJ spinning, thus the rate is higher.
