Challenge your co-workers this holiday season to Climb Mount Crumpit where the Grinch resides. Participants will compete virtually to climb 3,000 feet in their own home or any stairs nearby. FitPros will supply the tracking form, a series of emails to internally promote the challenge, and our Holiday Care Packages can make for a fitting reward.
This challenge is versatile and allows for employees to compete individually, in small groups or the employee can gather their family or a group of friends. If competing individually we suggest this challenge be one month long. If competing in small groups then two weeks is sufficient.
Consistent physical activity is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, but that it can be difficult to find time for the recommended minimum of 30 minutes a day into an already busy schedule. The Climb That Mountain Challenge simplifies the idea of having to block off a chunk of time to workout, and it incorporates stairs that you may already be taking several times a day - and, now you get credit for taking them!

or so we think at first! In the classic Dr. Seuss tale “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” we initially thought The Grinch was an unorthodox villain with creature-like features and a negative attitude. I don’t know about you, but with most workouts initially I have a bah, humbug attitude and my stiff body is feeling pretty creature-like too. But, alas once I climb that proverbial mountain of a workout I become my best self, just like The Grinch when he saved Christmas and carved the “roast beast.”
