The Ripple Effect


A year ago, our founders Adam Lowry and Neil Renninger launched Ripple Foods with the hope of having a small but profound impact on the way we eat. Our approach wasn’t to advocate for wholesale changes in how we eat, or to deny ourselves the things we love, but simply to make delicious foods that were healthier and more sustainable: foods we wanted to eat because they were delicious above all else.

Ripple is built on the truth that even the smallest actions can have far-reaching impacts. We believe that those little decisions we make every day add up to big changes: to a healthier you and a healthier world. By trying to get a little better every day, we each create the change we’re seeking. It’s why we call ourselves Ripple. We hope that together with you, we can create a wave of change toward a better way of eating.

Dairy-free. As it should be. Ripple is a nutritious plant-based milk that is high in protein, low in sugar, and delicious. Made with Ripptein, the purest plant protein on earth, Ripple boasts eight times the protein of almond milk and half the sugar of dairy milk. Ripple’s creamy, smooth flavor is perfect for people who believe nourishing the body is the first step to nourishing the soul. Ripple is 100% natural and vegan – free of soy, lactose, dairy, gluten, GMOs, and carrageenan; and it takes a lot less water to make than almond, cashew, coconut or dairy milk. In fact, it takes 1000 gallons of water to make 1 gallon of milk and nearly six times more water to make almond milk than Ripple milk. Within the first year of launching, over 2.5 million (100% post-consumer recycled) bottles of Ripple have been enjoyed!

And the year ahead has many exciting things in store for Ripple. In addition to the five flavors now available in Ripple milk (Original, Unsweetened Original, Vanilla, Unsweetened Vanilla, & Chocolate), we’ve recently launched Ripple Kids, available at Target stores across the country in a shelf-stable, lunchbox-friendly format. Last month, we launched our non-dairy half and half, a first of its kind that works equally well in coffee as it does in cooking. And we have more exciting products launching in the next few months!
