Celebrate National Cookie Day with FitPros!

Friday, December 4th is National Cookie Day, so preheat the oven and get your cookie jar ready! Whether you prefer a soft and chewy cookie or one with some crunch, FitPros has you covered on how you can safely celebrate this sweet holiday.

National Cookie Day Activities

Start a New Holiday Tradition

This holiday season may look a little different this year, but we can take advantage of the time at home to slow down, enjoy family and start a new holiday tradition. Gather the whole family and enjoy some quality time in the kitchen while baking some of your favorite cookies for National Cookie Day December 4th.

Try A New Recipe

There are so many great cookies out there, why not try a new cookie recipe this holiday season? Try an old-family recipe, bake one you find online, or make a new recipe altogether!

Host a Virtual Cookie Swap

Although we can’t be together this year for the traditional cookie swap, you can add a twist by hosting a virtual cookie party! Invite your family and friends to join a virtual meeting on Zoom or Skype and share your favorite holiday cookie recipe with everyone. Take it up a notch and have everyone make one recipe together and enjoy them together!

Ugly Sweater Cookie Competition

Put on your favorite ugly sweater to inspire your cookie decorating skills. Cut out sweater shapes from sugar cookie dough and let the whole family decorate them into an ugly sweater with colorful icing, frostings, and sprinkles. Make it a competition – let your family decide whose cookie takes the top spot or post the photos on social media and let your friends guess who decorated each cookie!

FitPros even offers holiday cooking demos including:

  • Family Festive Cooking Class: The holidays are the perfect time to bond with the family in the kitchen. Grab a step stool for your Junior Chef and prepare to make memories. The grocery list and recipes for kid friendly dishes will be shared in advance.
